Take special care to keep to public rights of way when crossing farmland in the Edale valley, only using appropriate access points (stiles, gates etc.) as we need to keep on the right side of land owners. Full FRA kit strongly recommended.
Men’s record is 1.33.01 by Dave Taylor (2008); women’s Karen Dalton 2:01:07 (2006) although it is perhaps slightly further going via Dale head
