Start/finish Bolsterstone Church. Eyeballs out descent to Ewden Village, crossing New Mill Bridge, and then right after half a mile up road past Bank House and barking dogs at Snell House. Turn left at top crossroads and continue past Swan Cottage for about a mile to second crossroads. Turn left down Brightholmlee Road, then left again near bottom of hill at edge of Brightholmlee village to contour back around to Jack and New Mill Bridges; then slog back up hill past Ewden Village to the finish at the church. Start times between 18:00 (older and infirm) and 18:30 (whippets). Special dispensation for earlier starts for over 70’s.
High viz vest, head torch and mobile phone compulsory.
