This is a 20 mile off road event on 17th September, for walkers, runners and climbers to help raise money for a new base for Edale Mountain Rescue Team. It is over some rough moorland and along gritstone edges, and some navigational ability is required. There is about 600 feet of height gain. The route is not marked, although there will be marshals at various points along the route and a suggested route map will be on display at the start of the event. It follows the 9 gritstone edges: namely, Derwent Edge, Stanage, Burbage North, Burbage South, Froggatt, Curbar, Baslow Edge, Gardoms and Birchens. Please only use marked public foot paths and bridleways.
