Simon D now tops the league standings, with Tom the first real casualty of the new ‘only four road races to count’ rule. He and Kev were also subject to the unwelcome ragings of a driver who got too close; something to keep a careful eye out for next time we’re on the tarmac.
Meanwhile, Simon B has filed a categorical denial of Keith’s secondary slur from last week, and George is still exorcising the emotional scars of being comprehensively Worselled; by Kev, of all people.
Next week (tomorrow) is Thornseat Trail from the gas pipes on Mortimer Road at the top of Windy Bank.
