Organiser's Report:
Excellent run by John Boyle and grand turn out-the revised route seemed to be acceptable. I was given an article about the miners ,from 1862-saying "Come Fellows"drink-drink drink your fill,Full soon we must gang up the hill-Where Odin rich in shining ore--
i think this must have referrred to supping up in Castleton--we seemed to have done it the other way round.The article talks of women miners -who are described as--complete harridans-even in their muddy outfits and attire i dont think Kirsty,Penny,Lucy and Sarah could be desribed in such a manner.

A very tough race -with lots of climbing---a contrast to the next Night race-14 th November at Fairholme-which will be visiting Poynton bog -as usual-but clockwise this time
