Heading over to Houndkirk / Burbage this week, returning via Stanage. Worst of the slop can be avoided by heading along Houndkirk Road, then up the Burbage Bridleway if desired.
This is the general route, shortcuts / break away groups may form.You must bring a fully charged headtorch and kit to be self-sufficient in the winter. Full FRA race kit is considered minimum, and a survival bag is recommended.
