Most Dark Peak members support the aims behind this event and despite some concerns about the possible effect on future established races, it was well supported by club members. Indeed DPFR claimed the first three places. There probably would have been more representation had the race not clashed with one of Dark Peak\'s own \"classics\", Dungworth.
