Hunter Wreck

All 27 finished ,which has not always been the case .On a glorious night Tom and Felix sped round in record times. The alternative routes are clearly much faster and easier than the Corridor route [if passed in daylight,  a ruin and the rocking stone on the 110 bearing]. Always plenty to think about on this 'flatish' course over rough ground. Finding the wreck is always worth a pre look , but Emlin can be unnerving as its lower than Onesacre and in clear weather there are lights ahead everywhere !

With record numbers and runners from every spectrum of the club it is in safe hands as I pass the R. O role to Simon.

This is my last race as organiser and deviser after 42 years [first was the Crookstone in 1984] ,however if I keep going long enough maybe a special could emerge in December 2027 when I am 80. ? Andy
