This was the first round of the 2023 English Junior Championships.
The weather was pretty ideal, it stayed stayed dry, but the conditions were typically Duddon underfoot - Boggy!
There was great running from everybody. Izzy-Mai had a storming run.By far the best result was a lot of happy looking runners, no matter what their placingThis one might well turn out to be the toughest one of the series. All races were near to maximum permitted distance, with plenty of climb, lots of technical ground and a good deal of that Dudgeon valley special boginess. proper fell races for sure!
