16 starters, Dark Peak Races LeagueThe conditions were good for the run, a bit breezy on the way out and visibility made navigation tricky (!) as too much information came into play, especially on the way back to Emlin as the lights and ridges in Bradfield and Onesacre provided distractions.
Steve Adams held off a chasing pack of 3, with Martyn running 8 minutes quicker than last year. Clive stormed back from the Dukes road taking 6 minutes out of the 3 behind him. With the F.R.A relay at the weekend numbers were a little reduced in this challenging outing.
As this was the first night run, let alone race for some, a good effort was made, even more by a few who had never been to the cross and wreck in daylight!
