There were wide margin wins for Tom, who broke the course record, and Martha in this TT version of Horsehill Tor. There was also a noteworthy run by the evergreen Mick Cochrane who, with a time of 2:20:38, set a new M70 record. Eliot confessed to having "(not) read the sentence which said roads are out of bounds. And I thought I'd been quite clever to reduce my elevation to run the road down from Mam Nick". After a Steward's Enquiry and some measurements on Strava, a time penalty of 5:05 was imposed together with a final written warning for road running.
