On a very fresh evening with a strong westerly wind a high quality field sped away from the start and fairly soon different routes were taken to climb out of the first stream on the way to the Foulstone track.The descent to the wall was quite rough and the climb back longer than expected before the dark shapes of the Cakes directed us back, via several different lines, back to the pub .
