We used the same score format as last year and many previously used control sites so I was expecting a higher level of success this time around. However a bit of mist and very poor underfoot conditions put paid to any chance of a complete round up of points in the time allowed. This meant that the braver souls who tried to take in the further controls lost all their points for the trouble they took. The layout of controls meant that many people ended up with 9 points in the time allowed with Andy Barnett getting back first with that total so he is at the top of the leader board. In actual fact the first person back was Jim Paxo inside 30 minutes but with only 1 control visited. I thought that would clinch last place but shortly after Lawrence Percy rolled up with zero controls bagged to temporarily occupy last place. that was shortlived as well because Tom and Kris ended up with -2 points but at least had value for money.
