18 starters, Dark Peak Races LeagueOn a cool and clear night 10 runners went off in the early start, with 50% of them over 70 years of age .Tom W sped round was faster than his time 3 years ago and Fi also recorded her best time, as did John. There was the odd deviation but no serious errors and Tim R was the fastest on the night and the only one inside the hour, which he has done on several occasions .The relief on the organisers brow was clear as news came through that the last 3 lights had been spotted, signifying that Phil was on his way and we could all retire to the Strines Inn. A worthy, challenging race, that has less climbing than any other fell race?
