Near perfect conditions greeted the 71 starters at Peris Horseshoe, 12 of whom were Dark Peak Fell Runners. We carried away a smattering of category prizes including Dave Lund who attained a podium finish. Dave and Glen Borrell both went under 4 hours.
Dave Tait ran the Half Peris race and, not for the first time (nor the last we hope), was 1st Vet 70.
Peris was the penultimate 2018 Carshare League race. Rhys has an unassailable lead at the top of the table and Mike Robinson has won the Vets category. Penny Collier will become the women’s winner if she gets round Langdale a week on Saturday.
