29 starters, Dark Peak Races LeagueThe turnout was excellent, with lots of young bloods bashing the way through snow and frozen pools .Pete ran away from the early starters and ploughed a track for the fast boys to follow, his sub 3hour time was very impressive. Great win for Glen who held off some fast lads less than a minute back. Jo had a fast run to Cranberry Clough before being sociable and joining the slow bunch on the very testing section over to Howden pond and Abbey brook. The vegetation is exceptionally difficult having grown significantly over the last 2 decades and the record (?) by Al Ward of around 1:45 looks out of reach.
