Crookstone Crashout – Dark Peak Fell Runners

The route had been designed as a shortish one, providing for some fast running but even in benign conditions I was surprised at the times being a good 5-10 minutes quicker than expected. Great turn out by the 7 ladies with Kirsty in 7^thplace .

The 3 starts provided some sociability and as intended many runners descending the last hill together but it takes a bit of working out afterwards and only 3 were in the last start – so perhaps 2 starts is sufficient. Hopefully the times and finishers are nearest to 3 decimal places !
