12 startersIn the 10 minutes of the race, Euan Patton put in a storming ride, breaking away in the first lap and repeatedly lapping the field. Kizzy Bembridge put in a sterling solo ride coming in only a lap behind. Beth rode hard and never let Lotty get away. Beth was also generously sporting in declaring Olly having finished ahead of her (unfortunately, she didn't know he was a lap down). None the less, all of the riders and supporters put in a tremendous effort.
Thanks to course technician Kev, for setting out a fair, but tough course. The limited availability of stakes and tape forced the use of a set of patio chairs to complete the starting straight.
