The 64th race passed off with no runners going walkabout as the weather was clear, mild and windy.The female runners! risked being disqualified as they meandered down the hill, taking a left swing, probably as they chatted away, but they avoided last place [leaving that to a r.o who found it all on to finish].That didn't stop three other starters bailing out through health or injuries on a testing medium course.

Tim Hawley sped down the hill to pass Willy who had taken a better line to the knoll to be first home of the early starters. Dave came home fastest passing most of the field. Good runs by Dave Allen, young Pedley and the Bradfield juniors. Talk of the 65th returning to the original course is very possible - can young bloods join Patterson/Harmer/Tett in the exclusive sub 30 minutes club?
