Warts' Revenge on Sun 15th Feb 2015
15 startersA suitably claggy morning for this slightly unseasonal running of the Revenge - moved from November to the following February largely because past and present organisers forgot to get it in the calendar early enough last year (or possibly because of the potential disruption caused by the felling of trees in the Burbage Valley).
Whatever, the conditions made for some slightly unconventional route choices, with a number of runners making unscheduled visits to tarmac, and the causey to the west of Stanedge Pole also receiving a number of bemused visitors. All returned safe and sound in time, with Stephen Martin thoughtfully calling the RO to confirm his own successful completion some time after the latter had returned home, having forgotten all about Steve.
