13 startersThe eighth race was Whicken Whizz which is a relatively flat race. Having moved the date into July though meant the heather and bracken was longer and this played a huge part in relative progress if you got stuck in it (and there are also a few Keith eating bogs out there)!
The race was won by me !!!!!!! I stuck to my lines and did a fair bit of undergrowth battling but on crossing the last stream I couldn't see anyone at the gate so legged it as fast as I could. I still wasn't able to talk properly when Jon Morgan appeared a few seconds later!
I might have got Graham and Clive's time the wrong way round - if so could someone let me know?
