A record turnout of 46 for a very sunny and easy bogtrot. Most found the underfoot conditions to be fast and clean. There was not meant to be much route choice but when it came down to it there were some very weird interpretations on offer.
The leaning tower of Pisa was clipped without the help of Ryanair but the stone circle caught a few people out. Hard luck to Aidan who should have won but didn't.
Everyone went under packhorse bridge, no doubt shamed into it by the large and enthusiastic crowd of onlookers who had no idea what was going on.
A very convivial gathering for refreshments at No 33 was held afterwards. Thanks to Marilyn for the marvellous soup etc.
