A big field in advance of the FRA dinner, and very pleasant crisp conditions with clear views to the far horizons. Jon M was dispossessed of a tightly laced shoe in the opening strait, losing him a minute or two, whilst Nicky, Keith, Ashley and Dave S all secured personal bests. Run of the day, p'raps, was Claire P, just pipping Keith to the line. Meanwhile, at the flabby middle of the field, I was more than happy to take advantage of Tim's travails with cramp, to take the honours in the grey Fiesta. I'd share David McG's time with you (now added - ed.), but he was so far back in the field that his sticky label hadn't made it to the results board by the time we left. He made up for this though, with a couple of swift Blues in the Ladybower on the way home. Always a classic race.
