Any race that gives whistling gnomes to both male & female senior winners is half way to the makings of a fine race. Add to that some exposed ridge running & copious tea & cake and you have made it. There was a manageable sting in the tail with 20minutes or so along a gently undulating lane to the finish. The organiser Math Roberts had a nice light touch – thanks & well done to all.
