A crisp, clear, sunny and, on brief occasion, sleety morning in a quiet Cheviot Valley for the second counter in this year's inaugural Carshare League. Plenty of good grassy running, and a fine final descent. With Carshare himself in my rear view mirrors all the way around I had to keep on pushing - a very pleasant trip out, and well worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. With just the two of us in attendance, we won the car team prize comfortably; and as the only person to complete both of the first two counters this year, I've at least belied the claim that it's a poor man who can't lead his own league - however briefly.
