Given the amount of snow lying in the paths around the Headstone there was definitely a right way and a wrong way around this classic course - needless to say I went the wrong way. After decades of running there is still no definitive route. Neil as ever proved it makes little odds as long as long as you run fast and true. A certain part time lumberjack from Grindleford did blot his copy book (as we all know it is already, arguably, pretty well blotted) by running all the way along the road from the Wyming Brook conduit back to the Sportsman. Not before time the Ethics Committee is to convene to discuss his continued membership.
