Only me and Steve donned the brown vests for this pleasant 2 lapper round the outskirts of Meltham. The localised freezing fog kept the temp to 1 deg C on the start line, which made for some surreal scenery including me in a vest and gloves. Surprising how quickly the race seems to go with the 2 laps, variation in terrain and twists, turns & jumps. Mandy loved it as it was her comeback race and as it was a Yorks Vets qualifier, there were plenty of older folk to talk classic cars, glamrock and decimalisation with, and you can't beat a race that has hot showers and a real ale bar afterwards.
