A superb morning allowed everyone to enjoy the hills, so much so Jim Orrell muscled in with the big boys. Excellent run from Neil, who as usual raced away from the field. It was alarming however to see so many smiling faces at Margery trig - thanks to a frozen Ian W, especially the men in blazers - chairman Paul,secretary Rob-and even Editor?Dave all offered a range of smiles as they passed the surf board.
I was concerned to see that Willy seemed in contact with runners approaching Margery but then trundled along Long edge looking for a gate, which allowed him to finish spot on the secret time and win the bottle of Beer that I had thought won. Grand day out - we were very lucky as the snow and visibility soon came down.
