As for the race the chasing pack caught the rabbits just after Cranberry Clough -their early speed proving valuable in testing conditions on Wilfred Edge. Rumours that some folk missed the trig have not yet been confirmed by the inquisition. I missed being out there but enjoyed watching at the half-way point.
