Clag on many of the summits for most of the day, but dry for the large part and the sun came out in the end. Matt 3rd, Martin 3rd= MV40 (the organiser was eager to point out that Martin had apparently crossed the line hand in hand with the next vet - ahh) and, third time lucky, Dave McG got the nav off Snowdon right, having learned the hard way that you don't need to visit all the tops on the way up to Wales' biggest peak. Shame the sun came out on Moel Cynghorion. Had Dave got it wrong for a third time, I might just have caught him ... A serious challenge of a race which deserves a bigger field. At least DP was able to provide nearly 10% of the entrants. Strongly recommended.
