Neil Northrop turned up late to Westend to scupper any chances we may have had of getting bonus points on Simon Dixons “Way Out West” race. Jim Orrell however was justifiably pleased in getting his points for improved performance and not being last.
As we get to the sharp end of the Summer Series there was a suspicion that the organiser ran a tactically slow race to improve her chances of bonus points next time. More to the point a great quality race with big climbs & sweeping descents out & back the Alport valley.
