A warm pleasant evening meant that we could congregate at Back Tor as the later finishers came in. Ian Winterburn & Ashley came to a cosy pact on Howshaw Moor and skipped hand in hand into the finish to share the spoils. My nephew, Andrew, showed me in no uncertain terms that there is no substitute for youth. It was good to see some newer faces as they were treated to a quality wild circuit around the top end of Abbey Brook. The jog out from the Strines was a bit of a chore but nobody seemed to mind, no doubt distracted by the idle banter. There was a short debrief in the pub for some.
