15 startersFifteen runners lined up for the first running (to my knowledge) of a junior race as part of the Thornbridge weekend. Andy Barnett set a course which started on the railway line for a few hundred meters then headed south on the path to the far end of the site. Tuning left brought the only real hill of the race which sorted out everyone. Phil Weigand lead from start to finish leaving Dan Nolan and Alec Yates with the minor placings. Six year old Emily Barnett timed her run perfectly overtaking Freya and Kirsten on the hill. So, lots of happy faces and we hope to do this again next year.
