I took part in the Fellsman (61miles, 11,000ft climb) at the weekend along with quite a few other DPFR members. The weather was consistently blustery but with the wind generally behind us, however between 12 and 3pm a weather front came across bringing rain and hail which was unpleasant and resulted in a large number of dropouts. The rain however gave way to more sunshine and about 9pm the wind dropped to give a lovely cold sunset over Great Whernside.
