244 startersStanding around under trees in the rain waiting for the delayed start had obviously had an effect on many runners. dave Holmes and I looked at each other in disbelief as we found ourselves around 70th or 80th on the run to through the village... and we thought we were going quickly! The climb became an interesting excersise in overtaking.
Slightly amended course this year finishing with a lap round the playing field next to the bowling club rather than on the village green. Probably about 200m shorter than the old course.
