172 startersAlways popular with Dark Peaker\'s, this year\'s race saw one of the largest Dark Peak turn outs seen outside of the club champs with 49 out of 172 starters. The quality was there too; as we had 5 of the top 6 and 9 of the top 20.
Pipeline construction meant a minor alteration to the final section of the course on the descent into Chatsworth Park. The modification would have been a better route than the original IF the organisers had marshalled it properly. Several people made minor mistakes with Dave Holmes losing most time (though probably not any places).
