318 startersA cool night seemed to make for good conditions but the recent rain made conditions interesting. I watched initially from the deeper than usual stream crossing at the top of Padley Gorge but the place to be was by the swollen River Derwent which is crossed within sight of the finish. New member Alistair Landells had a lonely run for second place whilst an even newer member (of less than 1 day?), Killian Lomas, also ran well for a place in the top ten of this large and highly competitive field.
