270 startersI made a public announcement at the AGM that I would do a race in the Lakes this year so. armed with a few photos of Winn Hill for comfort, I went up for the weekend. What a brilliant place and what a race! 270 runners and 20 of them from Dark Peak. Sue and I enjoyed the whole weekend so much that we have decided to go to the Lake District probably in June to have a crack at that event that club event that everyone goes on about. The last time we visited the Lakes was for a week in Kendal in 1977.
