88 startersConsidering the appalling weather there was still a decent turnout of 88 for this short race. More Dark Peakers normally do this race, maybe the forcast kept people away. Ex Dark Peaker Tim Austin would have finished 2nd but a nasty fall towards the finish saw him being carted off to hospital and having 14 stitches in his shin.MR
