They were tough but interesting courses at least for the score classes. Much of the terrain was quite runnable, but every so often there would be patches of longer grasses. There seemed to be more steep climbing than usual. On Saturday the clag was down low enough so that we were running in it most of the time. The rain started about 11:00. It was quite light for the earlier finishers, but heavier later.

It rained most of the night with a really strong wind, so camping was not much fun. It was hard to pitch a tent well when it is being torn out of your hands and we ended up with tent inner flapping in our faces most of the night.

Sunday weather was much better, with sun for much of the time.
