£4 to enter and it is a fairly brisk tracks and trails 5 miler in the White Peak over numerous stiles with a good climb to surprise you thrown in at the end.
The course and finish is manned with most of the villagers supporting the event, well marshaled and signed. After the race, a nice t-shirt to everyone, tea from Bone China mugs, a few hundredweight of hot cheese pancakes and enough biscuits to build a small wall. The on course photographer had a scrolling video display of all runners on view before the race was over and full printed results were available 15 minutes after the race finished. A nice event for your 2008 diary.

Local LeagueThis is a truly good event.
