51 startersGreat race on a fantastic day sandwiched between two vile ones.

This race has the most vicious beginning and end road section, you wouldn\'t want to do it on a greasy day. Most of the climb is at the start, up to Tal Y Fan itself at 2100 feet. A big yomp across to the next checkpoint then its little fast up and downs on tracks and trails to a massive grassy descent, till you hit the afore mentioned vile road on the way back.
