132 starters, Local LeagueFor the first time we had a cool rainy day for the race. Although the grass and weeds were a lot higher, all of the first four in beat the previous course record. Lloyd Taggart came in well in front of James Walsh, seeming through a better downhill technique. Olivia Walwyn from Durham Uni Old Girls came in an amazing 13th. Both course records smashed. Super turnout from Dark Peak and Durham University Old Boys & Girls. All 40-odd marshals also had a splendid time getting very wet, but not as muddy as the runners.
