423 startersIt seems a long time ago now, but I remember a mixed day with some bitterly cold showers sweeping across the Yorkshire Dales. You saw them coming from miles away so at least you could steel yourself mentally against them. With the exception of Dave Tait who had another excellent run, times were down a bit well mine was, and nobody got under three hours. Dark Peak was conspicuous by its absence, though perhaps this was because many members don\'t consider this event to be a proper fell race.
