A wildly wet week preceeded this race. Floods were rife throughout South Yorkshire. There were questions raised about the safety of the course due to surface water erosion. On the night a smaller than usual field turned out to run in almost rainless conditions on a course that was still very runnable even if some of the runners did take the descents like they were grannies that had forgotten their zimme frames. Well done to all those that turned up and raced and a big thank you to all the marshals and helpers without whom the race could not have happenned. Congratulations to Pete Matthews for the smooth running of the race. We look forward to seing you all at the EXTERMINATOR on the 9th September.
