100 startersCongratulations to new member Marcus Scotney who began his new year in fine style with a win in the 15th running of this event. A training partner of Mike Jubb\'s, Marcus joined Dark Peak last year to get some experience on the fells and ran in all three of the big Autumn relays.

An earlier recce of the closing stages of this course helped him to record a 46 second victory over long distance specialist Mark Hartell.
