A very good turnout, thanks to everyone for their support. It poured down just before we set off, but eased away, leaving it dry, clear and wind buffeted. No trouble route finding. The large field soon spread out, just a bit bottled at the start. Slippy rocks around Dove Crag, needing either a cautious or a reckless approach. And that path through the park went on for ever...Lloyd was 9th, Janet 2nd, Mike Egner 1st V50. Seniors were 3rd Great , but having to be boosted by the Vets, even Mike as Vet 50 - where are our younger members? The Ladies were 4th, a very strong Vets set for 1st Team - with John Hunt in 4th. I was 3rd V60, but CFR have beaten us for 1st V50 Team.
