On a more serious note, there were complaints from Peak Park Wardens because we took "the forbidden route" from Stanage Edge to the Pole. This was an unfortunate consequence of good visibility I have not decided whether to alter the route your views would be welcome.

35 startersA good field, in every sense, started the Race into an unpleasantly strong and cold headwind. The visibility was excellent and therefore the usual suspects ( Robinson, Moore, Ledger, and Fulton) managed to stay on course; sadly. Well done to Mick, Andy , Dave, Hilary and Roger for heading their respective classes.
