DPFR a bit thin (except me) on the ground, for this very enjoyable short blast due to the AGM. John Brown turned up and again ran 2 minutes a mile faster than me but I managed to keep him in sight just long enough to marvel at his speed up the first climb - you could actually see the whole of his walsh soles disappearing into the setting sun. The race is now run in reverse of the original 'Saturday' course making it even better, except for the climb from the bottom of the dam wall at the finish!

Nice, fast race on the west of the Peak. Good running conditions - cold (even Andy Moore was wearing a sweatshirt) and firm underfoot - meant that both the men's and women's records were broken.SP
