142 startersWarm, but reasonable cloud cover with slight breeze. Route tends to be clockwise these days. Steady climb along the cobbled path to the Garburn Pass, followed by steeper grassy climb. Faster running to Ill Bell, then along edge (don't look down!), before long gradual climb to High Street.

Downhill across grassy section before climbing up the Knowle, steady ascent to Kentmere Pike, before fast downhill to finish, which seems to go on for ages.

Good to see so many Dark Peakers running. Excellent race to check if your Ben Nevis training is on schedule.
